"I was born in Texas after which I quickly moved with my family to Woodstock, GA. As far back as I can remember - I've always loved to draw. This eventually lead me to my current degree in Graphic Design - it's a nice mix of the technical and creative in one form of artistic expression. I still love doing my own artistic endeavors and tackling new projects. Current projects include building and designing websites, working on QAlias with our fabulous team, sewing the latest costumes for my friends in time for our dork conventions... and oh yes, I'm also making a bunch of the decor for the wedding. This also includes my full-time job working at YKK where I'm kept busy with graphic design projects and the occasional trip to some cool fashion tradeshows.

As a kid, I also experimented in different sports & activities. I danced for a good portion of elementry & middle school. I tried basketball and tennis (I think I was in elementary school when my dad told me it would be good for bonding with co-workers & clients when I got older - thanks Dad). I even did Tae Kwon Do for a couple years - that's where Joey and I met. He had just started college in Kennesaw after moving to live with his Dad from Peru. I didn't really get him at the time... I couldn't understand that through his constant pestering and teasing he was trying to flirt with me! Imagine that.... well when I finally did get the hint - I was smitten of course :) And almost nine years later, here we are! I'm so excited about this next step with the coolest guy I know!" ~ Ashley
